About the RoleAs a Solution Engineer, you will partner with Account Executives to define sales strategies, lead technical discovery, and ensure solutions align with customer visions. You will act as a trusted advisor, bridging complex technical requirements and desired business outcomes through architectural recommendations, technical workshops, and co-created future-state architectures. You will take ownership of solution validation through tailored demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (PoCs), while challenging the status quo and reframing customer perspectives to drive innovation.
Qualifications for Success- Excellent presentation skills in front of technical and non-technical key stakeholders, with solid oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to establish trust with clients and influence key decision-makers.
- Understanding of the API lifecycle and common integration patterns.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as iPaaS, SaaS applications, automation solutions, cloud infrastructure, AI, and AI agents.
- Ability to provide architectural recommendations and guide customers through complex technical decision-making processes.
- Skilled in facilitating technical workshops and discovery sessions with diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Track record of building and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and responding to technical and functional elements of RFIs/RFPs.
- A passion for technology and the ability to translate that passion into meaningful business impact for customers.
- Degree in IT, Business Informatics, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical sales, solution engineering, consulting, or technical implementation.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Previous experience in a Solutions Engineering role for a software vendor in similar technologies (Integration, APIM, Automation, CRM, Analytics, etc.).
- Previous experience with Salesforce, MuleSoft, or Informatica.
- Salesforce, MuleSoft, or Informatica Certifications.
- Hands-on development experience with languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
